A publishing opportunity exclusive to Wildfire Words — a global audience to hear your voice while viewing its printed text. We invite you to make a recording of everything you submit which is published on Wildfire. If your initial submission includes audio, it will be fast-tracked in the selection process for publication.
All of our free submission windows have a submission form which allows you to upload your text and/or audio files. If you are not submitting audio, you will be asked if you wish to send it later, book a private recording session, or ask for one of the Wildfire team to record the audio for you. If you choose not to submit text, your audio must still follow the rules on the number of words.
Most of our competitions offer prizes for best audio and best text.
Recording your voice
You can record on most phones, tablets, or laptops. We only publish audio, but if you find it easier to send video, we’ll copy the audio and delete the video.

If you prefer help with recording, you can join one of our free* online private recording sessions. They are normally held on Zoom on a Saturday . If you book a 15-minute session, you will receive a start time between 11 am and 1 pm (London Time) on the date you chose.
If you wish a Wildfire team member to record audio for you, request it on your submission form. There is no charge for that service*. To hear some of the team’s voices click on this link.
*We normally ask for voluntary donations to support Wildfire Words non-profit creative writing community. Whether you make a donation or not, you will receive your appointment time or team recording.
